PADI Open Water Diver Course

Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. You must be older than the age of 14 to begin the PADI Open Water Diver program. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is the PADI Junior Open Water Diver program available. A PADI Jr Open Water Diver between the ages of 10 and 11 years may only dive with a PADI Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet.

4 Classroom sessions

Classes are Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at the dive shop.

2 Pool sessions

Friday evenings from 5:30-9:00 pm. We hold our pool sessions at the Lewisville Nadatorium on Timbercreek Drive .

The Lewisville ISD Natatorium does not allow us to run overtime for any reason, so students MUST be at the pool no later than 5:30 for briefing and equipment set up. Any student who is not ready to get in the water and start the pool session at 6:00 will have to reschedule their pool session with another class or set up another pool session with their instructor for an additional fee.

Open Water training takes place at on Saturday and Sunday of the second week. If you have a limited schedule, inquire about our Private Lessons.
