What an amazing dive resort! The service provided by the staff, the accomodations, the food, and yes.. even the diving, were all fantastic. We were fortunate enough to share a boat with a colorful and fun group of people, and they were kind enough to let us display some of their pictures on our site. From our shop, we have pictures taken by Teri, Debra, and Mike. Many thanks to Bobby from New Jersey and Ellie from Holland for their pictures.

The Madeira Archipelago, consisting of two inhabited islands (Madeira and Porto Santo) and two groups of uninhabited rock formations (‘Ilhas Desertas’ and ‘Ilhas Selvagens’) are located about 360 miles from the coast of Africa and 535 miles from Lisbon. Scuba diving in Madeira is unique due to the temperate waters of the region. The water temperature during our October visit was 71ºF.

Advanced certified divers looking for something new and more challenging should dive the Tons of Steel excursion! The 327' USCG Cutter Duane sunk in 1987 in 130’ of water as an artificial reef. It sits upright and is 106’ to the deck. There is an abundance of fish life making this a great dive site. The Eagle, a 268’ Conventional Freighter, was sunk in 1985 in 115’ of water as an artificial reef. It laid to rest on it’s starboard (right) side and in 1998 Hurricane George blew through Islamorada and tore the ship in half.
